Safety should always be the most important concern, so again, make sure that the wagon is rated for the child’s age and weight.
Traditional-style children’s pull-along wagons are red and some have features like high-terrain tires, longer handles, higher seat backs and canopies. Be sure to check measurements and weight limits before buying, and follow all safety instructions. Others may be appropriate for slightly older children. Some are designed more for younger kids and come complete with safety belts and little storage compartments. Pull wagons are great for kids, who love being pulled around with their snacks, toys, drinks and buddies.
While baby strollers have an important spot on any new parent’s must-have list, pull-along wagons can be quite useful as well, even though they are more geared toward recreational fun.
